My sister and the most amazing mother to 4 of our kids passed away on September 11, 2020......Some of you might be familiar with what Sarah and I have been a part of the past two and a half years, but if not, we have been building deep relationships with families in a community that has been forgotten by the world surrounding it. It’s been our greatest honor to even be able to be a part of these families lives. I’m continuing to learn about life and Christ through them. This loss cuts so deep. Taylor was one of the most amazing woman I ever had the pleasure of knowing. To me she was my sister and to her I was her brother and we often said how wouldn’t ever let anyone tell us anything different. This loss cuts so deep I genuinely don’t have words for this type of hurt. Not only did the kids just loose momma, a few years ago they lost their daddy Malcom as well. Four children ages of 10, 7, 4, & 11 months old left without their daddy and their momma. This cuts so deep. I can’t begin to speak on the questions I have for God. My initial thought is to point the figure and blame someone for taking away my sister, but I’m reminded by Gods faithfulness in every thought of blame. I do not understand this though. I’m weak and confused and I won’t front on that. I’m writing this message to reach out on behalf of our family: from the maw-maws, paw paws, parrains, nanny’s, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, uncles, and other family.....WE NEED YOUR HELP. It takes a village to raise a family and our village desperately needs your help right now. We need prays for the children and all people hurting and grieving left with the responsibility of raising 4 beautiful children, and we also need financial help. Helping cover costs of the funeral, as well as helping cover the additional financial responsibilities given to our fam and community due to this loss. You genuinely can make such a huge difference by anything you choose to do. As difficult as this is I know that this will only make us stronger. Thank you and God bless!
