Help Kinsley

In September Kinsley was diagnosed with an aggressive malignant brain tumor that is very rare.  Kinsley and her family are at the early stages of a long period of treatments to help her fight the disease. Due to the rareness of the disease, Kinsley’s care has been transferred from Sutter General in Sacramento to UCSF where my sister, Anjali, has not left Kinsley’s side.  Anjali has left her job to be able to support Kinsley as they travel back and forth from their home outside of Sacramento. Anjali and Robert (Dad) are still trying to figure out how to balance Kinsley’s treatments with the needs of their other two children (Ryland - Age 5, and Avila - Age 8).


Kinsley is an absolutely amazing little girl. She loves coloring, crafting with mommy, swimming (she wants to join the swim team next year at age 4), and singing with her brother and sister while dad plays guitar. Kinsley is a fighter and has shown so much strength and resilience with her treatments so far. She continues to surprise and amaze us with all of her strength and willingness to fight in these early stages of her treatment.


Many people have asked how they can help.  Friends and family have already been so supportive with home cooked meals and support for the older kids as the family settles into their new reality.  I am starting this GoFundMe as another option to help the Wilkerson family avoid the added stress of worrying about finances during this trying time. Even a small donation here would go a long way towards helping Kinsley and her family through what will be the biggest challenge of their lives. Our entire family is shocked and heartbroken but we are doing our best to help Kinsley prepare for the path ahead.
