We are raising relief funds to support associates dealing with the evacuations and other impacts. Your contribution will be distributed directly to these associates who either lost their homes or were under mandatory evacuation. East West Bank will match the donations to this relief fund with additional financial support for those who have faced severe damage to their home.
In a time of tragedy and disarray, we give our greatest thanks for your generosity. Together, we can help our colleagues transition through this difficult period.
The collected funds will be distributed by me onbehalf of East West Bank HR Dept. based upon the impact categories reported (Lost Home, Damage to Home, Evacuation - returned, and Evacuation - not returned). The impacted population is collected and identified by the HRBPs and the reported population is cross-checked with local authority's mandate records to ensure its validity. This will be a one-time lump sum disbursement to the impacted associates and disbursement amount will be breakdown into tiers based upon the severity of the impacted population’s situation and disbursed based upon the % tiers set after review by the HR Dept.
For impacted associates who have additional questions, you may address them to your respective HRBP.
