Ewan's Road To Stanford University
Hello, my name is Ewan Wummel, I am 17-years of age and I'm in the 11th grade at East High School in Denver, Colorado. This semester I received a scholarship to attend Stanford University this summer for nine weeks through Minds Matter of Denver. Minds Matter is a program that is aiming to mentor low-income, inner-city high school students with high GPAs and with achieving their academic goals in order to earn scholarships and gain acceptance into the college of their choice. This is my second year participating in the Minds Matter program, it's a three year commitment. It has allowed me to experience higher education and the expectations required for a successful college career.
Unfortunately, the scholarship itself does not cover the entirety of the program and I am seeking further assistance to aid in things such as:
-Books
-School and Dormitory Supplies
-City Travel
-Extracurricular school activities
-Business attire
-Living expenses (groceries, laundromat use, etc.)
I'm hoping to attend this program with no worries in regards to a financial burden. Being able to experience college while still in high school will allow me to broaden my horizons. I'm extremely grateful and humbled by this opportunity.
Thank you very much for taking a look at my campaign and for your consideration. It means a lot to me.
**Note** -- If you do not want to pay the fees associated with this platform, you may PayPal (using the family and friends option) or Venmo my mom directly. You may email her at [email redacted] for that information. I named my mom the beneficiary on this campaign so she can withdraw the donations for me due to me being under 18. Please do not let that confuse you when viewing my campaign.
