Help Soheb recover from emergency spinal surgery
On Sunday, Soheb Siddiqui was involved in a tragic accident at Mt Baker near Seattle, WA. A hard fall onto packed ice renedered him paralyzed from the neck down. He was airlifted to Harborview hospital in Seattle where he underwent emergency spinal surgery.
As this is posted he is in the ICU. He has been able to gain back some limited mobility but has a long road to recovery with potentially devastating implications to his long term quality of life. Our immediate concerns are medical stability, regaining motor controls and somehow getting him home.
Soheb is 43, and a father of 4 children (the youngest is 18 months). He is a good, good, man and is the primary provider for his family.
This is where we need your help. First and foremost, he needs prayers. Please mention his name in your prayers. Secondly he and his family need financial support to get him through medical costs, getting him home from Seattle to Toronto via a possible medical transport and supporting his family through the recovery process.
He and his family have a monumental journey in front of them. Your support will have an incredible impact.
