Hi my name is Jeff Puskar and my son's name is Anthony Puskar. Anthony was first diagnosed with AML with the flip 3 mutation cell back in 2009. He spent about 10 months in the hospital doing Chemo and got it back in remission and lasted almost a year before it came back and he had to go back into the hospital which then he relapsed for second time so they gave him more Chemo which was for a half hr at a time a few days apart and he also had radiation which made him very sick.Anthony than had a good two and half years with no bad news.He was hanging out in Sandusky Ohio at the beach.Then his mom dropped him off and he started not feeling well and had a fever. A couple days later I took him to the emergency room. His legs were yellow. I knew it had come back.So we got transfered down to Riley Hospital so they said that he had to do five straight days of Chemo a nonstop drip so we ended up with his counts dropping out like they should and rise back up. I knew when I asked the nurse and she said I've never had a patient with five straight days of Chemo and she was there for a few years. Then I knew it was a very serious issue.We got thru that with no issues. So we were suppost to start new treatment on Sept 20 which was a low dose of Chemo and they did a bone marrow test days earlier and we got the news the day before saying there was nothing else they could do for him.The blast are so bad so mom started driving and grandma flew with Anthony to Seattle where its beautifu.l He will be an out- patient there and receive blood and platlets and keep him comfortable. All the money we raise for Anthony will go to Anthony for him to do anything he wants to do till he can't do any more. We thank everyone for their support. I'm just a dad trying to make sure it happens for my son. I LOVE ANTHONY VERY MUCH. GOD BLESS You.
