Mary Marshall - celebration of life

My beautiful sister, Mary Marshall, was senselessly and tragically taken from us in another random act of gun violence. She was a joy to this world and taken far too soon. She was set to wed in three weeks on October 29. We’re simply seeking any help that you can provide to help aid in her celebration of life, set for the same day as the wedding as well as providing help towards her cremation services.

UPDATE- the outpouring of everyone’s kind words and stories and the completely overwhelming donations has surpassed anything we could have even wished for in our wildest dreams. We want to thank each person who’s donated and sent food and thoughts and prayers and love. It won’t bring Mary back or take away the pain but we know they only come from the best of places. Thank you so much.

UPDATE- again, we want to thank everyone for all the support and love you’ve showed us. We’ve decided that we’d like to take our pain and turn it into something meaningful to Mary. Myself and her fiance, Rob, have already started meeting with members of the NC Senate, Congress and other local elected officials. We’re going to work tirelessly for mental healthcare reform for kids, teens and young adults. Mary was a huge advocate for mental health rights for everyone and we want to carry that torch in her absence. Please continue to donate and share so that we can keep moving forward and helping this cause.
