Mike Heaton is a Spring Branch Alumni, Northbrook High School class of 1979.  Mike was diagnosed in April 2015 with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that had metastasized to other parts of his body.  Mike, along with his wife Starla (Northbrook High School class of 1981), have been enduring a hard fight with chemotherapy since April.  

Starla has been a good, loyal friend of mine for almost 40 years.  We do not speak everyday, but when we do its like we have lived next door to each other all these years.  I set up this GoFundMe account in hopes of giving Mike and Starla a little peace of mind with the daily costs they are encountering.  I am asking for friends, Northbrook Alumni and the great family of Spring Branch to do what they can to help and support Mike and Starla during the fight of their life.
