Hi friends and supporters,
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help in raising funds for my dental service costs. Back in April, I was training for my Ultimate Frisbee Nationals Tournament which led to an untimely, traumatic sporting accident where I lost three front teeth upon impact with a goalpost on our training field. We were unable to salvage the dislodged teeth. Unfortunately, as a non-PR or citizen in Australia, I am unable to access the major dental services provided by the Australian Public Healthcare system and the level of cover I have through my private health insurance excludes the major dental procedures that I require. Consequently, my only option is to go with private health services, where I will be solely responsible for the costs of dental implants and partial dentures.
Aside from having to cancel a holiday trip to Melbourne I had planned the week after, I also had to pull out of this Frisbee Nationals season. The accident was traumatic, and although has left me feeling helpless the weeks after, I am not going to let this dictate me or my smile. That's why I have launched the "Evynn's Tooth Fairy" fundraiser. This fundraiser is aimed at helping me raise the funds necessary to cover my dental service costs, so I can get back to living my life, and participating in the activites that make me happy with a confident and healthy smile.
I am asking for your support to help me reach my goal. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in helping me cover the costs of dental implants and dentures. With your help, I can start to smile confidently again and not feel the need to hide behind a mask.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation to my fundraiser. Your support means everything to me and I am truly grateful for any contribution you can make.
Sincerely,
Evynn
