Support Rebecca's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
"I'm writing this in hopes to help the single most influential person undergoing a medical procedure she desperately needs. My mother, Rebecca, is currently at Stanford University recovering from a double lung transplant. IF you know us or my family- you know that we always have been there in times of needs not only for our loved ones but the community at large- and Rebecca is a shining example of this. As a pre-schoolteacher throughout her life- she most recently held a position at CommUnify, which helps Santa Barbara County residents and children. She received her BA in Education at Antioch University which she used to not only have a positive impact on the people in her line of work she cares about, but to really try and be a pillar in the community through direct action services. Theres truly no one I can think of that puts others first in the way that she does. I dont know why this has happened to a person that has not only never smoked but done so much for others, but such is life and we are doing what we can collectively as a family to help her in this difficult time. That is why Im reaching out to you in the immediate community and beyond to try and have us pay for this transplant and future medical procedures she needs. For everyone that has been positively affected by my mother I hope you can consider a donation no matter how small. As for other people who may not know her, but are connected somehow by one, two or three degrees just know that any donation would help immensely in her journey towards a healthier life. Thank you ahead of time for any help you can provide. God bless.
