Hi, my name is Aleza and I am fundraising for Janette Mayers

I have worked with Janette for over 3 years, and she has been an amazing mentor, colleague, and friend, to myself and to countless nurses and medical staff at RCH where she is a Registered Nurse and Patient Care Coordinator on the Orthopedics/Trauma unit. We see Janette's dedication to her patients and their families, going above and beyond on a daily basis.

Her son Kevin, who lives in Scotland, was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. Unfortunately, Janette learned that he had passed away suddenly last week. Her circumstances are further complicated, as she is caring for her husband who had just undergone bypass surgery.

With our help, Janette can hopefully be able to take unpaid leave of absence +/- go to Scotland. After a career spent caring for others, Janette needs us to care for her.
