Evolution is known across the borough for our charity work, close relationships with thirty two non-profit organisations and philanthropy.

We pride our facility on being a central hub for many charitable foundations to seek further support, aid, or to lean on our gym family for extra advocacy.

Why we need your help!

During 2022, Evolution Fitness XL entered into negotiation with St Helens Council to purchase a half acre of derelict land, (which has been labeled as a 'compulsory purchase order meaning no building can sit upon the space as the land is unfit for purpose.)

Currently, the space is being used for illegal fly-tipping and landfill. The land attracts various criminal activity, ranging from property destruction and vandalization to drug use and arson. We have taken time and spent thousands of pounds to try to clean up this land previously, to ensure the Evolution Environment is as safe as possible. However, these attempts have been scrutinised by the council.

Our plan, is to turn this hazardous, empty space into a essential, functioning, environmentally friendly, safe car-park for our members, local residents and neighboring businesses. This would help us to keep adjoining roads clearer, and make more space for charity drop-offs, residents and members.

The council have agreed to allow us to purchase the space for £72,000.

Although Evolution Fitness is a well known facility, we are still a family run establishment with a small staff. Alongside supporting multiple organisations, business rates, fair wages, and further costs incurred by owning a fitness centre - we are kindly asking if anyone able would be able donate towards our goal to meet the councils demands. We completely understand the financial climate and the rising costs of living, therefore all donations of any size are greatly apricated towards helping us build a healthier community and achieve our goals to help in aiding more people inside our facility.
