Hurricane Melissa Relief for Jamaica

My name is Kim Fogah from Atlanta Ga and my heart is heavy as I write this. I’m personally managing this fundraiser to help provide food, clothing, toiletries, tents, and sleeping bags for families whose lives were torn apart by Hurricane Melissa.

This storm has devastated Jamaica—homes destroyed, families displaced, and entire communities left without food, clean water, or shelter.

Our focus will be on the areas hardest hit, especially St. Elizabeth, Manchester, and Westmoreland.

How funds will be used

• Supplies: Food, bottled water, hygiene items, clothing, tents, and medical kits.

• Distribution: I’ll personally deliver aid with help from local volunteers and community centers.

• Timeline:

• Within 2 weeks: Food and emergency supplies.

• Within 1 month: Temporary shelter (tent) and bedding.

I will manage all funds, and regular updates and photos will be shared here on GoFundMe, allowing donors to see the direct impact of their support.
