Ella Grace

Hello everyone,

I am creating this GoFund me for a sweet college friend, Tailor Salat. First, this woman is the kindest and most faithful servant of God, I know. She owns her own dance company, Spotlight Dance Academy, where she pours her love, talent, and patience upon these children.

She had Ella Grace on February 19th at 1:34a. She was born 4.5 weeks early and had a 2 week stay in the NICU. She learned to breathe and eat on her own before heading home. When she was 8 weeks old, she needed a blood transfusion and continued to regress overtime. She ended up needing another blood transfusion a month later.

Finally, they were able to find an internal bleed through a colonoscopy. During the colonoscopy, they perforated the bowel sending her into an emergency surgery, where they took off 5cm of her colon and she was sent to the PICU. Now, she’s facing an uphill battle again as she heals from trauma, learns to eat and digest, and passes all of the tests it takes to leave the hospital.

This sweet family, (Pete her husband is in another country deployed) has not lost their faith in all these trials. With the 4 hospital admissions, many procedures, ambulance transfers, etc the hospital bills are going to be astronomical.

Please help me bless this family, so they can focus on spending time with Ella and not on what will come down the road with the hospital bills.

Lastly, when I asked Tailor if she was willing to have a GoFund me, this was her response, “Not at all, if we don’t use it for her medial bills or their expenses there, they will pay it forward to other families going through this suffering.”

Your blessing will be a blessing to her and her family, she has such a humble and giving heart amidst all the trials she and her family are facing.
