Evie’s Medical for Intestinal Care at Cincinnati
Donation protected
Evie will be traveling 9 hours away from her home for intestinal care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. It will be our first time there, and she will be going into the operating room, along with having many tests in hopes that we can improve her quality of life! We don’t know how long we will be there, but this will be the first of many trips. A lot of people asked to help lighten the load with traveling, food, gas, and hotels. We figured this is the safest way to do that.
For those who aren’t familiar, Evie is 6 years old with intestinal motility disorder, gastroparesis, constant vomiting, and failure to thrive. Evie has struggled since the age of 2, and without being able to handle her tube feeds and constant vomiting, she has stopped growing. Evie is followed at CHOP and Cincinnati. Since there are only 6 motility clinics in the world, we don’t have many options, and we are hoping Cincinnati can work along with CHOP in hopes to improve Evie’s quality of life! I will travel the world to save my girl and get her thriving!
