Hi, my name is Evie. some of you call me mom, daughter or friend. It has not been easy to come to this decision, I have found myself in a dire financial situation and so out of desperation, am turning to you my friends, family and community for help.
Earlier this year I felt the calling to end my employment in the corporate licensing field to a career that better aligns with my personal beliefs and calling as a Christian woman. The time away from this career allowed me time to address family wounds and health concerns and find emotional and physical healing in a lot of ways.
I was able to take in my biological mother Karen while she underwent detox from drugs and be there for her as she experienced a stroke and help her through recovery. We have recently learned that Karen has been diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma in her left lung and I was able to help her get diagnostic testing and begin treatment.
While I am so grateful for this time with my family this year, I never expected for this transition in careers to lead into an extended period of unemployment as it did.
I was able to drive for Uber these past several months to meet our basic needs, but it has not been sufficient to cover all of my monthly obligations, and I have been running a deficit.
In August I accepted full time employment with Arizona Baptist Children's Services as a Parent Aide and am so excited to see where God will lead me with this new career path in social services. However, because I am so far behind, I have run out of time and am now facing termination of insurances and services and repossession of vehicles before I can receive a regular salary.
Please share with others or if you are able, submit a donation of any amount to help me get back on my feet. I look forward to using this season of difficulty to inspire and help others as I know God will continue to provide a way even when it looks impossible. I am thanking him for this platform and generosity of those I love. Thank you!
