About to Lose My Home. Please Help Me and My Kittens Stay Off the Streets.

After 11 years of living in the same apartment, the most notable home I’ve ever called my own, I’m now facing eviction. I have until this Thursday to come up with the funds or I’ll be homeless. I’m doing everything I can to prevent that, but I need help.

Earlier this year, I committed to a job that required months of unpaid training. I was promised a future there but the opportunity fell through, and it left me financially injured. I’ve since found a new work-from-home job that I’m so grateful for, but it requires me to stay housed and connected to keep it. If I lose my home, I lose my income too and the cycle just worsens.

I’ve been trying to catch up, but late fees and legal charges from the landlord’s lawyers have snowballed, adding $500 a month just for sending notices. It’s become too much to manage alone.

I live with three sweet, one year old kittens who depend on me. Family is unable to help right now and I have no other place to go that can fit all of us along with my little but only possessions. I’ve always tried to handle things myself, but this situation has gotten out of control, and I’m scared.
