Cheryl Canson is an inspiration to all! As a community leader, she fights for a renewed society founded on peace and equality, not cages and violence.  When I first met Cheryl, I was struck by her tranquil courage and aura of hope, despite all the pain and suffering that has been inflicted on her and her beautiful family. We NEED women like Cheryl to lead us into the future. We need Black women and Black mothers like Cheryl to be the voice of the people.

We can't let the light that shines from her be dimmed by being thrown onto the streets by a greedy, racist, ableist landlord!

So many of us are just struggling to get by due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Despite this struggle, Cheryl has persevered, working within her community while battling a year-long eviction case. These racists at Canyon Rim are doing everything they can to kick her out and make sure she is homeless. We have to stop this from happening!
