Eviction attorney & relocation costs for Lisa

I wanted to start this fundraiser on behalf of Lisa Farrell Corey. Many of you know her from Everything Weymouth which she created and has helped others in countless ways over the years. Lisa is a helper and giver but has never asked for help for herself. She is so much more than someone behind a computer screen and I can speak personally on that because she is my aunt.

For those who are aware of her situation and have been reaching out to offer condolences and advice you are so appreciated. For those who don’t here is some background.

Lisa’s boyfriend of 13 years, Mike “Sky” King was found deceased on Thanksgiving morning. He was known by many for his DJ years in college or most famously hearing him on your morning commute, listening to AM 1030 for “traffic on the 3s”.

Mike was missing for two emotionally strung days which Lisa spent searching for him, sharing his information online and staying in close contact with local authorities only to be intimidated by family members that live outside the home. She left for her childrens home in NH to grieve all while the apartment her and Mike shared was ransacked and stripped of all things “Mike”.

The past 3-4 years her job has been helping to take care of his elderly parents,unpaid while Mike was at work, treating them with nothing but kindness and helpfulness. Outside family members have been intimidating her at night while she’s alone in the apartment her and Mike shared together. THEIR home for the past 6-7 years. She was served with a restraining order days after his passing which was thrown out by the judge immediately. Now she has been served with a 30 day order to get out. Her fire exit has been illegally blocked by them amongst many other things. The living situation has become incredibly toxic, stressful and scary for her. She hasn’t been able to properly grieve and now could end up homeless.

I want to be able to help my aunt and I figured this would be a good start to aid with eviction attorney costs and the relocation of her and their dog, Cash. (As emotional trauma and grief has no cost. )Thank you to anyone who donates.
