Evianna

I am making this for my friend Brittney ! She did give me permission! this message is from her.

Hi everyone! I’m starting this in hopes to help my daughter Evianna recover the way that she deserves.

On Friday, April 8th Evianna was attacked by a dog. Me, Evianna, and my son Tevari were swimming outside at our friends pool. When the kids started to get cold, we decided to go inside. As soon as I opened the sliding door to go inside, our friends dog rushed out and started attacking Evianna. *NO ONE PROVOKED THE DOG* I tried to grab the collar and it broke off the dogs neck. Tevari tried to stop the dog and the dog bit his hand. I was on the ground trying to wrestle this dog off of my daughter, but it did not want to let go. Eventually I got Evianna away from the dog.

Evianna suffered multiple wounds to her head, her forehead, and her left arm. She had to be airlifted to a childrens hospital and we did not know if she would make it. But she’s a fighter! She made it through. We had a wonderful plastic surgeon do her surgery and she’s doing great — physically. But, this is going to be a long road to recovery. And these scars (mental and physical) will last a lifetime.

Every time Evianna wakes up from her sleep she says things like, “I’m scared of the puppy,” “make the puppy stop,” “no no puppy,” and “go away puppy.” It was severely traumatizing to her, as well as my son and myself. We will need to stay home until she’s fully recovered, the slightest bump to her head could cause her stitches to break open. Meaning I cannot work and I will not have any income. We also found out today that our insurance will not be covering all of the medical bills as of right now.

All I ask for is some prayers. If you wish to donate we would all be whole heartedly grateful. Thank you to everyone who has been checking in on us. ❤️
