My family was delivered a devastating blow in march that we never thought we would be facing. 

My 5 yr old great niece Evelyn “ EVI “ was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer ( Wilhms Tumor ). She has a tumor on her kidney that is larger than the actually kidney. She has already started Chemo in hopes of shrinking the tumor enough to remove her kidney. She has already had 4 treatments and will have 2 more before they do a scan to see if the tumor has shrunk. If not, she will undergo another 6 weeks of chemo. Once the kidney is removed she will still need chemo and possibly radiation. 

Evi has 3 other sister Molly who is 10,  Charlotte and Ruby who are twin 9 year olds. Their lives have also been affected as they witness their baby sister in the battle of her life.

My nephew David is the most amazing daddy to his 4 girls. He is doing everything to keep their lives as normal as possible considering.  He even shaved his head once Evi stated losing her hair.

We know the medical bills are going to be extremely high and this will be a very long journey. We are so blessed and thankful for the amazing team of doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital and also Dana Farber.
