On the 9th March Warren Smith (our Son, Brother & Uncle) was involved in a serious motorbike accident on his way home in Thailand, which is potentially life changing to the life he once lived. Warren had recently found out that his Dad was dying of lung cancer, who sadly passed away a few weeks ago and it has been a really difficult time for the family to also see Warren in his current condition.
Warren’s main injury is a broken neck and a punctured lung, his right shoulder is also broken and so are his ribs (as you can imagine the accident has caused a substantial amount of harm to his body. Due to the time Warren has been in hospital which is close to 6 weeks (as we write this) and also the surgery he has undertaken, which was mainly to pin his neck, the hospital costs are incredibly high. The family have supported a significant amount towards the costs so far and anticipate a remaining £10,000 to pay, as the costs are rising from £8,000 (as of today).
We are asking you to support Warren and his family (Wife & 4 children), who are going through this really difficult time and find themselves with this financial struggle. £8,000 in Thailand is really costly for a family who work on the farm. We would not be asking for your support if it wasn’t for the substantial costs left to pay. Any donations however the amount would be really appreciated.
Thank you so much.
Jackie (Mother), Jayne (Sister), Victoria (Sister) and Bianca (Niece).
