Evguenia's Liver Transplant

Donation protected
Dear friends, acquaintances, and everyone reading this post, my name is Svetlana Martynenko and I am reaching out to you with a request for financial support during this challenging time for us.
My wife, Evguenua (Zhenya) Iapichno, has been battling liver cirrhosis for over a year now. The diagnosis was made in October 2022. Last October, her condition deteriorated sharply, and she was hospitalized. Due to complications, doctors recommended a liver transplant. In December, her condition worsened further due to a cold, and the cirrhosis progressed to stage 4 decompensation. By the end of January, her condition became critical, and she was urgently hospitalized, evaluated, and placed on the waiting list for a donor liver. This is her third hospitalization since October 2023, and she has been there for a month now.
On February 17, 2024 she underwent a liver transplant surgery, which lasted almost 9 hours.

Zhenya is currently in the intensive care unit, and her condition is severe, but gradually improving. She is conscious, the ventilator has been removed, and she is breathing on her own. Zhenya has always been the one providing financial stability for our family, but due to her prolonged illness, she is unable to do so, and my salary is insufficient to cover all expenses. I have been working alone for over a year, trying to cope, but debts are mounting, and unpaid hospital bills are becoming overwhelming.
After Zhenya is discharged from the hospital, I will need to care for her 24/7 for a month, so I won't be able to work. We will need funds for insurance payments, a vast array of anti-rejection medications for the liver and other drugs, hospital bills, trips to doctors, tests, housing, and utilities. We have tried to solve our financial problems independently, but without success.
If you have the ability to help, we would be infinitely grateful. Even if you cannot provide financial support, please share this post with your friends. At the moment, our hope lies in your support.
We are trying to raise funds for at least 1 month after Zhenya returns home from the hospital.
Thank you for your attention and understanding. We sincerely hope for the best and believe that Zhenya will soon return home.
