Closing the go fund me for Eve’s new hair

Hey I’m Casey, Eves mum. Within a matter of a few months my larger than life, bubbly, happy and healthy teenager has become a shell of her usual self, after being diagnosed with a non life threatening but incredibly life changing rare skin condition which is causing hair loss at a rapid rate. The formal diagnosis is dissecting cellulitis, alopecia, severe acne and psoriasis. Multiple doctors, specialists, creams, ointments, antibiotics and medications has finally started to see some improvement in the symptoms but unfortunately the healing process is much slower than the balding. Alopecia requires a lifetime of treatments but sadly has no cure. Eve is such a proud, smart, determined & spiritual young woman, her life has really just begun! Eve moved out of home this year to study psychology at university and although her self esteem and mental health is at an all time low she is still attending lectures and submitting assessments. Eve stands up for anyone who needs a helping hand and is so incredibly proud of her Indigenous heritage. If we can manage to raise enough money I would love for Eve to have one or two new wigs. I want Eve to feel she can still put her best foot forward and live her best life. If this helps bring the sunshine back in to her world then let’s do it together. Any money raised that hasn’t been used directly for a wig/s will go towards ongoing medical costs for Dermatologist appointments and medications.
