To ensure the success of this event and raise our goal of $ 15,000 for an educational project. Family BBQ, guest artists, dance floor, photobooth other entertainment for families will be offered.

Coordinator Pervana Mladenof started fundraising procedures to build a "green classroom" garden pavilion. This space will be used by teachers of the school, to teach mathematics, French, biology, science, etc. This "green classroom" will have the same functions as a regular classroom, with benches for students and a table for the teacher. Of course, this "green class" will also serve the community for social and collective activities.

Unfortunately, Mrs Mladenof passed away by an aggressive cancer in June and she could not complete this project. A project she held dear and in which she put a lot of time, energy and passion. At her request, we want to continue her green classroom project in her honor. To do this, we would like to set up this family benefit event to raise funds. This event will be held on September 28th on the Princess Elizabeth school grounds in Magog The family activities and BBQ with be starting  at 3pm following with a show starting at 7pm. More details to come about the event in the following weeks.

We are an English school of 280 students in Magog located near Lake Memphremagog. We have an underprivileged school rating. We serve a large territory of the Magog region and the surrounding area.

We are fortunate to have had a community school center for the past 10 years whose mission is to: Cultivate the improvement of students' academic success and bring the community together.

We stand out especially with our 9000 square foot community garden including 15 boxes of gardening. Some of these boxes are dedicated to classes in our school and the other part is offered at a lower cost to the community. With the help of teachers and volunteers, each year our students are introduced to growing vegetables, fine herbs, plants, flowers and composting. In the fall, school students and teachers harvest the garden to make it a collective soup. We enjoy it during a school event involving our volunteers and the community.

So, with your donations, we would like to raise funds to help build this amazing green class!

With your help we can make her dream come true!
