A friend of my daughters was very recently affected by a fire that completely destroyed her apartment. Luckily, she evacuated and is safe and healthy. However, at no fault of her own, in a matter of moments, she lost all her belongings, sentimental items that can never be replaced, and important personal documents.

To make things even harder, this happened while she’s between jobs, a time that’s already financially and emotionally challenging. Now, she’s left starting over from scratch.

This fundraiser is to help her take the first steps toward rebuilding her life: to replace essential items, secure accommodation, and begin putting the pieces back together.
