Hi, I’m Chieh — a Taiwanese filmmaker finishing my MA in Fashion Film at London College of Fashion, UAL.

I’d love to invite you into the world of my final film project, Everything That Shakes — a narrative style fashion film that blends fashion, food, and magical realism.

The story follows a Taiwanese girl in London who joins her friends for dinner at a surreal, nostalgia-soaked restaurant. Suddenly, the ground trembles, an earthquake that unlocks a buried world within her. Then appears a woman in black, the living shadow of her nightmare. They clash in a dreamlike fight-dance, where raw emotion warps memory into something surreal.

At its core, "Everything That Shakes" is about what happens when you stop running and finally sit with what hurts. It's a love letter to those of us who feel displaced, stuck, or quietly overwhelmed, a reminder that healing doesn’t always mean solving things. Sometimes, it just means staying with the feeling long enough for it to soften.
