Hi, my name is Catherine and I'm starting this GoFundMe to help my closest friend Vanda to start over.

My friend was on her way to start a new chapter on the East Coast of Canada with her daughter. She packed her whole life into a trailer — her clothes, furniture, memories, and every item she worked so hard for. But unfortunately the day before leaving someone had stolen the trailer with everything see owned. There was no insurance.

Not just objects — but the pieces of her life, her comfort, her stability, and the things that made her new home feel possible.

She had to leave with nothing but a few personal belongings. No bed to sleep on. No dishes to eat from. No warm clothes. No keepsakes. No sense of normal. The stress and heartbreak have been overwhelming.

She’s trying to stay strong for her daughter , but starting over from zero is incredibly hard.

We are raising funds to help her replace basic things like:

Clothes and shoes

Bedding and a bed to sleep on

Kitchen supplies

Toiletries and essentials

Basic furniture.

Everyday items most of us take for granted.
