Everything Lost to Fire - Help Lauren Rebuild

My name is Michelle and I'm the daughter of Mike and Debbie Gaona, and the sister of Lauren Gaona. It is with a very heavy heart that I share this picture of my parents' beautiful dream home which burned to the ground in the historic fires which ravaged Boulder County on December 30, 2021. My sister Lauren is a teacher at Boulder High and has been renting space in my parents' home. Like my parents, Lauren is now left with only the clothes she was wearing when she evacuated 48 hours ago. Our family is all safe and alive which we thank God for. What we need now is to help Lauren rebuild her life: my family needs to replace literally everything they owned. Lauren needs money to buy clothes, supplies for her teaching job, a new laptop for her work, and all the countless items a person uses in day to day life. In time we will work to cope with losing all the priceless sentimental things we can never get back or replicate.

Anything you can contribute will be extremely appreciated by Lauren as we all begin to cope with the aftermath of this devastation. Though entirely heartbreaking, we have said in our family meeting that we can get through anything together and we know this is true. We need your prayers and we thank you for loving our family through this incredibly difficult time.
