Yesterday, my little brother Eddie experienced the unimaginable—his home was destroyed by a fire while he was sleeping.

My brother was awoken by extreme smoke at 2:30 am and managed to make it out of the house with his life, but unfortunately, his two cats did not. In a matter of moments, he lost everything he owned: his clothes, furniture, important documents, treasured memories, and most painfully, his animals.

This has left him devastated, both emotionally and financially. He is now facing the overwhelming task of starting from nothing—trying to rebuild his life without even the basic essentials.
