On July 21st, 2025, the world lost one of its brightest, strangest, and most beautiful stars — Chad. In a twist of cosmic timing only he could’ve pulled off, Chad passed just hours before his most cherished idol, Ozzy Osbourne.

If you knew him, you know that’s no accident.

Somewhere beyond this realm, Chad had one final entrance to make, eyeliner flawless, arms wide open, ready to welcome the Prince of Darkness — and probably crack a joke while doing it.

Because Chad wasn’t just a person. He was a phenomenon.

• Our vampire-slaying Van Helsing in Carpe Noctem

• A cosmic jester, New Age minister, and spiritual warrior

• The best damn server at Denny’s and Olive Garden (yes, both)

• A protector, performer, and soul-lifter — sometimes chaotic, always radiant

• The best friend you could ever want

He could shift a room’s energy with a look. Whether it was laughter, ritual, a ridiculous escapade, a candlelit cleansing, or just a cup of coffee, Chad served magic — and gave it freely.

If you ever needed to be seen, held, or simply reminded that you were not alone, Chad was there.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

What This Fund Supports:

We’re raising $3,000 to give Chad the send-off he deserves:

• Final arrangements and memorial expenses

• A Celebration of Life worthy of Chad’s unique spirit, beautiful heart, and cosmic soul. This will be held at a later date to be announced.

• If possible: a lasting tribute — a memorial mural, bench, art installation, or maybe even a small fund to support other beautiful weirdos like Chad, with group consensus.

How You Can Help

• Donate — No amount is too small. Every bit helps. We need to raise at least $1500 as soon as possible to cover the cost of his cremation. All other donations past that will go toward his bills while we get his affairs in order, as well as his Celebration of Life which will happen hopefully either on Halloween, his favorite holiday, or his birthday in November. We will be working on as soon as possible.

• Celebrate — Be weird. Be kind. Light a candle. Raise a glass. Remember him.
