Hi everyone,

Let me tell you about my friend, an honest and kind ex-cop from Illinois.

Recently, he had to pawn some of his stuff to afford the cost of living.

Amongst many things was his beloved Nintendo Switch, which we used to play Pokémon together. It breaks my heart to see the fun we shared taken away. Pokémon kept him smiling through tough times, as I believe it did and still does for a lot of us.

He’s not flashy or attention-seeking, but he’s always been that “good guy” who'd look out for others, sometimes even trading a shiny without asking for anything in exchange.

Now, he just needs a little help from good people. A few bucks from fellow Pokémon fans or people who believe in second chances can go a long way.

This fundraiser is about more than just replacing a Switch. It’s about helping him get back to everyday life with a bit of dignity, hope, and a chance to reconnect with something positive.

All donations will go directly toward groceries, basic bills, and saving up a small amount to get back online with Nintendo Switch and Pokémon. Even $ 5 or $10 helps keep the lights on and the spirit up.
