Every Time I Catch My Breath, the Car Breaks Down

I didn’t want to make one of these, but over the past few days, God has placed it heavily on my heart — and I know now I’m meant to.

Hi, I’m Destiny — a mom of two little ones.

It feels like every time I catch my breath, something happens with my car. Because I don’t have revolving credit, I simply can’t afford a reliable vehicle right now.

I’ve always had to buy cheap, used cars — the kind that barely last a few months, maybe a year or two if I’m lucky. My current car had been giving me trouble, and I know it won’t pass emissions when it’s due in April. That means I’ll be forced to find something new.

This time, I need something dependable. I work in my car to support my family — so it’s not just transportation, it’s how I provide. I’m just praying for a vehicle that will last, keep my babies safe, and allow me to keep working without fear of breaking down again.
