Hi everyone!
I'm reaching out to all of you because I've finally started a GoFundMe to help me pay for my master's program. This goal means so much for me because allows me to get closer to my dream of teaching Spanish at a college level someday. I have waited a long time to go back to school. Now that David is 15 I cannot think of anything better I can do with my life but working on accomplish that dream! BYU paid for 50% of my tuition I have to pay for the other half. Because I had to work as a full-time teacher I cannot teach at BYU to help pay my tuition as some teachers do. To get closer to my goal I study for the TOFEL Test English test and I have to write an APA format Research paper in Spanish. Getting into the program was not an easy task and I am honored they have selected me to be part of it. The date for the two scholarships BYU offer that I could apply for has already expired. I tried to find one with "Live your dream" and through the church, with my bishop and at this moment they are both prioritizing single moms who do not have a degree to start with. I am blessed I already have one and now I want to continue my education.
If I had touched the life of someone you know as a teacher and you want to help me touch the lives of more and be capable with more education to do so please help me continue my education. If you know me as a teacher, you know that teaching is my passion and be part of my student's life, it is my privilege. Is one of my dreams to be at a BYU classroom studying Spanish Pedagogy please help me accomplish my dream! Thank you so much.
