My grandmother has been the only parent I’ve known. She started acting strange not long ago. I have learned she has dementia. At the same time finding out she wasn’t paying any bills because of it. The home we stayed in has been foreclosed on. By the time the rest of my family and I found out it was too late to save the house. I use to travel and sing with a gospel group called 21:03. Then that contract came to an end after learning my manger was stealing money from me the whole time. I ended up having to stay with friends. Started drinking after becoming depressed. Recently I decided to make a positive change and stop drinking completely with the help of doctors and friends. It sent me into bad withdrawals which jeopardized my job due to being in and out of the hospital so much. I am very happy to say I am 5 months sober now. Yet, I have no job, but actively searching and have lots of doctor’s bills. Would love any loose change you’re willing to spare. Love you all very much either way.
