Help Natasha as She Fights Sepsis, Pneumonia, and Other Ongoing Health Concerns

Hi, my name is Venese Aoake, and I’ve created this fundraiser for my beautiful sister, Natasha Marriott (Johnston) ,who is currently facing serious health challenges. Natasha recently underwent surgery to remove Stage 3 Melanoma from her upper arm, but after being discharged, she became critically ill. She was diagnosed with sepsis and began fighting for her life as it rapidly transitioned into septic shock.

Natasha was airlifted to Wellington Hospital ICU, where their amazing medical team worked tirelessly to stabilize her as she faced complications with blood pressure and oxygen levels, temperature regulation, and other vitals.

Although there were signs of improvement, Natasha experienced additional setbacks, including a reaction to a change in antibiotics, which delayed her transfer back to Whanganui Hospital. After the rescheduled flight, she is now back in Whanganui, where she continues to fight sepsis and pneumonia.

Natasha is a strong and determined fighter, but her recovery is ongoing, and we are still awaiting further insight into whether the melanoma is still present. To help ease her financial burden during this challenging time, I’m asking for your support.
