We continue our service to our widowed sister, Doha, and her orphaned daughter, Mai—from among those whom Allah has commanded us to protect and honor. With no family to turn to, they rely solely on the mercy of Allah and the sincerity of compassionate hearts.

Today, Sister Doha and Mai depend entirely on donations for their survival.

Can you imagine not knowing whether your parents are alive, or if they have been granted martyrdom?

Can you imagine losing your husband and being left alone with an orphaned daughter, displaced from your home, uncertain where your next meal will come from?

This is not a moment of fear—this is their daily reality.

Yet by the permission of Allah, hope arrives.

Sister Doha steps out of the tent, and hearts respond—people who have never met her, never seen her, yet choose to support her for the sake of Allah. A home is built. Mai is sent to school—an opportunity her mother once only dreamed of. Food is placed on their table. Clothing, warmth through harsh winters, and dignity in daily life are restored.

All of this is done purely for the sake of Allah.

This is the power of sincere sadaqah.

This is what it truly means to stand with the widow and the orphan.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The one who cares for a widow and an orphan is like one who strives in the path of Allah.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

May Allah reward every quiet giver, every hand that lifts hardship, and every heart that answers a call seeking nothing but His pleasure.
