PSW is a short for Personal Support Worker. Personal Support Worker is a health care professional who provides supportive care to individuals, helping them with daily activities and personal care needs. We are trained to work in long-term care facilities, hospitals and in people's homes. Assisting with tasks like bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility, as well as medication administration in some cases.
