Emma suffered a stroke on June 28th and has been in the care of United Hospital's Neuro ICU, in St Paul, MN. She has very limited movement in her arms, hands, legs, and feet, but we are all very hopeful about the future and a full recovery.

Emma was beginning her 4th year of college at University of Wisconsin - River Falls where she loved being involved with the UWRF Rodeo Team and stables. She has two horses (Rodeo & Sissy) of her own that are currently being cared for by friends and also has a dog, Ellie Mae, who she is missing dearly.

In the coming weeks Emma will be transitioned to a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility to provide therapies that will allow her to get off of her ventilator. After that, there will be many different therapies and procedures to get her back to being her old self.
