Hi my name is Dawn, and I am continuing to raise funds for the children supported by Friends Heart Foundation in Tanzania.

So many of you have supported us already and given generously to provide solar power equipment, feminine hygiene supplies and educational materials. You have also enabled 30 children to attend school this year, with our School Fees Fundraising Campaign.

Our Daycare Centre which opened in January 2025 also required our help. With 34 children receiving preschool education and daily meals, the parents cannot afford to pay for the school fees. The children may not have food at home, therefore the meals they receive each day in the Daycare house are vital. Our two weekly Dancefit Fundraising Classes are currently supporting the teachers' salaries and the provision of meals for children and staff.

This year I'm working towards establishing a Scottish Charity to partner with the Foundation. This will enable me to apply for funding and to support further.

I'm returning to Tanzania in April to check on the progress of the children and families. As always there are so many needs within the community. Previously we have been able to buy beds and bedding for families who are living in very difficult circumstances.
