Hey everyone, it's Sarah-Abigail here.
The devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa on Jamaica have been prevalent. The images, videos, and cries for help are vivid and loud. I have family in different areas of Jamaica, from my mom's side and dad's side of the family. I also have many extended family members and friends. Even people i do not know deserve to have someone reach out to help in trying times.
You don't need to be born Jamaican or have family there to want to reach out and lend support. Every bit of help goes a long way. Many in Jamaica at present are without food, clothing, shelter, medication, access to medical help, electricity and internet to communicate. To make things that much easier, for people in Jamaica who have suffered and continue to do so, will be amazing. I know that times are difficult financially at present. Whatever you can give, however you can help Jamaica, I will be forever grateful.
Funds will be distributed to the local areas, food banks via the church and the support Jamaica charity.
