Life continues to glitch. And glitch. And glitch some more....

I was laid off last year, because of budget shenanigans in D.C. I've sent out almost 500 resumes for jobs in my field and in related fields. I've had a decent number of interviews, even some second interviews, but no offers. My attempts to find a job at a local store or the like have also been futile.

On top of that, I have lots of other complications ~ health issues (and the resulting bills), car issues (that this GoFundMe isn't addressing ~ it's complicated), and so on.

I've had no income other than a couple small freelance projects and GoFundMe donations since my unemployment ran out at the end of last year. Thankfully, due to the generosity of some friends of a friend, I've had a free place to live over the winter, which is near a couple very good food pantries. But there are other bills to pay ~ health insurance, phone, rent for the storage unit with all my belongings, a cat who really needs a vet visit.
