Everton Primary School often find they have a lack of break-out space to be able to separate the year groups into smaller groups when needed. The school is small, and they are running at capacity with the children in the village, so space is sometimes limited. The PTFA have helped to raise funds previously and aided the Summer 2022 building renovations to create the new library, see the website link below for more details and photos to see what we have done so far.
Andrew Green, our Head Teacher, has asked the PTFA to help to fundraise again towards a new building. This building will provide a space to enable the school to respond positively and proactively to meet the needs of young people, teachers and parents by providing additional multi-functional space. This will also help separate school and wrap around care provisions for children.
The school are currently in the early planning stages of this, and Andrew and his team have asked if we would help towards raising £50,000 which should cover all the costs of the new building. The local authority is not able to help us hence the reason we have been asked if we can work together to raise money to enrich our children's learning environment.
This space will make such a difference to the children in the village, giving teachers more opportunities to work with smaller groups, and individuals, as and when required. It will allow for a better transition for children joining and leaving the school, with the mixed year groups and will make for a welcome addition to the school now and into the future for generations to come.
We have opened this page, as we will keep referring people to the same place to donate, at the many different events we plan to organise.
