Everett Middle School Musical Theatre

Everett Musical Theatre 2020. I started this program two years ago. We are now mounting our THIRD full length musical! Last year we were recognized by the Board of Education as well as the City and County of San Francisco for our production of “Once On This Island.” The year before that we poked fun at the awkwardness it will forever be to be a middle schooler and American obsession with spelling bees with “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” This year we will follow Beth, a young girl who’s life undergoes a traumatic hardship that leads her on the “non yellow brick road” journey in discovering the art of letting go, in the heartfelt comedy “Oz” Everett is a beautiful place, oozing with talent. The funds available to us to put on a show at the only level I will accept LOL is..... little to nothing. Yet for the past couple years art has prevailed. Storytelling continues. Giving back to our community continues. Supporting our students of color be seen and heard continues. High level artistry and discipline remaining at the top of our list continues!
