Ellis Stewart 20 Year Everest Dream

Donation protected
Help my husband get back to Everest!

In order to fulfil a 20 year dream, Ellis and I used all our savings and took on debt for him to go in 2014. (£35,000).

On the 18th April 2014, 16 Sherpa’s lost their lives when an avalanche struck on what would be the single deadliest day in Everest’s history.

Preparing at base camp to the climb the mountain, Ellis could do nothing but watch these tragic events unfold.

Although tragic, Ellis has returned home ultimately spending £35,000 in order to trek to base camp.

He has since raised funds for the Sherpa’s and undertaken other charity work, including giving talks to underprivileged children, inspiring them to aim high and fulfil their dreams.

For this year only (2015) as he has a permit and other things rolled over from last year, the attempt will cost around £13,000 - big difference to £35,000.

We however cannot afford any further debt and with sponsorship looking unlikely in the 6 weeks he has left to come up with the money, I thought I would try this.

Help Ellis return and fulfil a 20 year dream.

Also help his mum and I, hear the end of it - LOL!
