Everest for Nath

Donation protected

Hi Everyone,

As many may have heard, our best friend Nathan Ford has suffered life changing injuries after being involved in an tragic accident whilst competing in the British Triathlon Championships in Scotland. He is currently in hospital in Scotland unable to breathe unassisted and unable to move. We are hoping for positive steps every day, but Nathan has a long road ahead of him.

The support so far has been absolutely amazing, with so many kind and generous people donating, getting out to support, and giving so many words of encouragement and well wishes to Nathan and his family. We know how much they appreciate this. Thank you so much.

We are behind him every step of the way, and to continue our support and to raise funds towards his rehabilitation and recovery we are completing an “Everest for Nath” challenge in the Lake District on 21 September. This will consist of climbing 8849m, 29,029ft, of some of the UK’s biggest peaks. We hope to complete this in 72 hours.

We have set up this go fund me, as we want to continue raising funds to ensure Nathan continues to get the best treatment possible, and with all possible options available to him and his family. Nathan’s journey is going to be a long one, with many up’s and down’s, but we know Nathan, and we know he can do this. Nathan runs a successful Triathlon coaching business and has dedicated his time to helping other’s achieve their goals, now he needs our help to achieve his.

Every step we take, and every mountain we climb, will be for Nathan and all the funds raised will go to him and his family to help him get the future care he needs.

There’s no challenge we could do, that comes close to what Nathan has ahead of him. Nathan has far more mountains to climb than us, but we are with him, every step of the way. You can follow our journey on our Instragram @richjellyman, @thewelshtriathlete, @rpalms84, @bunki17, @teamnft

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CLIMB - as for every step we take is for Fordy. If people can get out on the same week/weekend to show their support and #climbfornath or #walkfornath. It doesn’t matter how high or how far – as every step you take, every penny donated, will go a long way to aiding his recovery and means the world.

Thanks you for your support!
