Hi , as some of you may know, over 3 years ago i suffered a Traumatic accident whilst working in Sweden.

Unfortunately i came off a scooter and had suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury.

I was further induced into a medical coma for over a week ,in which time my family were instructed to come to Sweden and to expect the worst as no doctors at that time could predict the outcome of such a significant Brain Injury.

I spent over two months in this Swedish hospital when finally with the amazing drive and determination of family and friends i was accepted to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.

Here my mind was still so very much confused and scrambled and with the amazing care and attention i received from the medical , and All the staff there especially mentioning the Occupational Therapy Department , Who gave me the tools i needed to find my way into my mind that was locked away as a result of the hard Bang, I made a miraculous Full recovery.

At The time of my accident, i was training to do this same Everest Base Camp Expidetion.

So it is very fitting that i return to Conquer what i didn't get to accomplish.

My life has changed in many ways since then and all i want to do is become a better image of myself. And that starts with giving back to all I hold dear and feel appreciative towards.

So i am dedicating this Epic trip and all the funds raised here on this platform, to those who brought me back to being exactly who i am today, and thats the Occupational Therapy Department Blanchardstown, who help so many people, in so many wonderous ways.
