I am setting up this account to help support my sister Audrey, her partner Basho and their family during medical crisis. On February 7th Audrey  went in for a routine ultrasound at 24 weeks gestation. It was discovered that her cervix was dilating and bag of waters protruding thru. It was then that she was rushed by plane to UCSF.  She was told her baby would most likely be a micro preemie( born before 30 weeks gestation), and she and baby would be in the hospital,in San Francisco until June.  After a month of bedrest in the hospital, and at 28 weeks gestation, Audrey delivered tiny Ever to this world at 1:30 A.M. on March 5th. He was born weighing 2 lbs 3 ounces  and required a blood transfusion immediately,  but mostly breathing on his own.  This little boy might be tiny, but he is fierce and so tough. His parents are in awe of his tiny self, his strength, and the love they have for him.  He  will remain at the NICU at USCF until June, while  he develops and grows.  Audrey and Basho live 7 hours from San Francisco. Since the beginning of this journey; while Audrey and babe have been hospitalized, Basho continues to try and juggle business, home and family responsibilities, while frequently making trips back and forth between hospital and home. This journey with Ever will last at least until June, and possibly longer. They are in this for the long haul! Funds raised for them will be used for travel expenses, living expenses at home and hospital, and bills that have, and will continue to accumulate.
