EventWell is a charitable social enterprise and the mental health and wellbeing voice of the Event Industry, providing vital financial and mentoring support to professionals who find themselves in personal, emotional and financial hardship as a result of the Covid19 pandemic, all via our peer to peer support and community outreach programme - EventWell Pledge.
The event industry has been devastated by the Covid 19 pandemic with many professionals who have dedicated their lives or young professionals who had just joined us excited to be working in a dynamic and creative industry that is now on its knees. EventWell Pledge is supporting anyone in events, exhibitions, hospitality and travel who has been made redundant or on a reduced salary, suppliers or business owners now without a salary or income, or had to close a business, freelancers now without contracts or income, and anyone struggling with their health and wellbeing.
Funds raised from this campaign will go towards grocery shops, utility bills, travel and outfits for job interviews, accommodation and rent, a number of packages we have put together for families at Christmas which include vouchers for dinner and presents for children, as well as the EventWell Resilience fund which will provide bespoke ad hoc support as needed.
We would like to raise £10,000 in the lead up to December so that we are able to help as many professionals as we can, who for no fault of their own are having an incredibly difficult and turbulent year.
Any donation you are able to give will be gratefully received by the event industry professionals we are supporting with financial help and a much needed boost in the lead up to Christmas, so that they know that their industry stands with them and is here for them.
