Susan recently underwent surgery herself, and while she’s navigating her own recovery, her beloved dog Hudson — her companion, her shadow, her joy — suddenly needed emergency surgery.

He’s a gentle, bright-eyed soul who picks vegetables and flowers on his walks—carefully selecting his favorites as if he were tending his own little garden. He’s a true companion who brings life to everyone around him. He's a family dog in the deepest sense - woven into the day-to-day heartbeat of their home.

Hudson’s surgery was essential for him to have a real chance at a full, healthy life. Susan, still healing from her own procedure, and the family doing everything they can to care for him, is a lot to hold, emotionally and financially, all at once.
